QUEENSLAND speedster Knocka Norris emulated his sire Elite State by winning tonight's Group 1 National Sprint at Wentworth Park.
It was the second victory in the race by trainer Reg Kay who also trained Elite State.
Knocka Norris (Elite State-Oriental Angel) overcame first turn trouble to win the final.
He scored by seven and a half lengths in 29.83.
He downed Mountain Of Love with two lengths to All Caution in third.

SMASHES THE 515 M TRACK RECORD AT THE GARDENS.
Queenslander Knocka Norris smashed the 515m track record at The Gardens in NSW on Wednesday night in a heat of the Young Guns.
Reg Kay-owned and trained Knocka Norris (Elite State-Oriental Angel) ran 29.25 to break Buddy Rich's long standing track record when making his debut at The Gardens.
